The Finance Manager for US Sales works with Sales Strategy to develop long-term pricing and merchandising strategies, as well as play a critical role in analyzing our trade investments by channel. This role also plays a critical role in developing the plans and strategies for Net Revenue Management and will play an integral role in helping the field teams and Sales Strategy execute the new funding plans. Also be customer facing and help the field teams develop Joint Business Planning, Category / Customer Profitability Stories and manage challenging customer payment situations.

What we offer

  •  Responsible for the management of the trade budget (development and tracking), as well as executing the month end close and month balance sheet reconciliations and quarterly audit reviews.
  • Provide finance support and leadership to the eCommerce Team. This includes developing and supporting the annual and long range plan, and providing financial support on investment opportunities.
  • Support the Customer Teams and Category Management in developing financial plans for Joint Business Planning and Category Profitability Stories. Also support field teams in managing trade activity such as markdowns and trade investments.
  • Support the NRM Team in developing trade productivity pipeline as well as managing through potential pricing strategy changes (price list adjustments and/or merchandising changes).

Who we are looking for

  • BS in Finance and/or Accounting, MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience working with CPG companies in corporate finance functions (preferably FP&A).
  • Proficiency with MS office applications, strong analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of the retail industry (mass, club, drug, dollar stores, grocery).
  • Demonstrated project management experience, including managing both internal and external resources.
  • Proven ability to convince and influence brand management
