The Customer Service Representative is responsible for a portfolio of customer accounts (domestic, international or distribution or a combination there of) and is the customer-advocate that demonstrates a commitment to customer retention through superior customer service. This role will start based out of the Chatsworth, CA location and then transition to the Culver City, CA location in January 2018.


What we offer

  • Manage inbound phone calls from assigned distributors. Identify customers’ needs, research and provide solutions and/or alternatives.
  • Record all consumer calls on call log sheet.
  • Manage inbound and outbound calls from assigned distributors.
  • Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by exceeding their expectations.
  • Provide customer service for outside sales team including questions regarding in and out of stock items, distributor orders and/or credits and the running of reports as necessary.
  • Assist in order processing (data entry, checking for order accuracy, emailing distributor for approval, checking customer status for order release and release orders to the warehouse for picking).
  • Coordinate the returns for product overages, stock adjustments and damages as necessary by using the most cost effective way possible.
  • Lead efforts to identify and improve results and processes.
  • Check EDI for orders and send/receive documents as necessary.
  • Communicate with Account Managers, Brokers, Customer Service Representatives and other functional areas on changes and exceptions to orders to determine appropriate transaction resolution and improve future processes.
  • Enter no charge orders for various classes and events as needed.
  • Send requests for approval for no charge orders using E-Sign as needed.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Must be willing and able to start in the Chatsworth, CA location and then transition to the Culver City, CA location in January 2018.
  • HS Diploma is required. College Degree preferred. 
  • 2+ Previous customer service or sales experience required.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships across functional areas
  • Highly motivated; enthusiastic, energetic, capable of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer focus

  • Positive attitude
  • PC literate in Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Functional knowledge of SAP and EDI preferred

  • Knowledge of logistics in a consumer products or related industry
