Finance Manager - Accounts Process Improvement

The Order to Cash (OTC) department is part of Henkel Regional Finance North America. The team is responsible for the overall management of the accounts receivable and credit management processes in conjunction with Henkel’s Manila Shared service center, internal business colleagues and our headquarters in Germany. Our emphasis is reducing financial risk and AR balances for a positive impact to cash net working capital.  Our Finance Manager position is available at our North America headquarters located in Rocky Hill, CT.

What we Offer:

  • The Finance Manager will be a Key Account Manager to one or more business units, working to improve AR through improvements to end-to-end order to cash process.
  • Work with Henkel's Manila Shared Service Center, Sales, Customer Service and other operational departments to address process issues, improve receivables numbers and reduce networking capital.
  • Conduct and lead monthly OTC meetings with Business Controllers.
  • Support business partners with ad-hoc customer specific topics.

Who we are looking for

  • Master's degree in Finance or Accounting and 3-5 years of experience preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Understanding of general business processes and financial statements.
  • Specific experience with collections is a plus but is not required.
  • Strong problem solving capability.
  • Demonstrated experience executing tasks and projects with a sense of urgency
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and a high level of energy are required to accomplish the position objectives
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to take on other finance and/or business roles in the future
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. SAP a plus.
  • Certification in process improvement (i.e. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt) a plus
