Henkel to Open New Beauty Care Hair Professional Facility in Culver City, CA

New state-of-the-art facility brings Henkel’s Beauty Care Professional brands under one roof

At the end of 2017, Henkel Beauty Care Hair Professional North America (“Henkel”) will open a new facility in Culver City, CA, which will house the U.S. headquarters for Henkel’s North American professional hair care brands Schwarzkopf Professional®, Alterna®, Kenra Professional® and Sexy Hair®. The company will relocate operations from its current headquarters facilities in Culver City, CA, New York, NY, Indianapolis, IN, and Los Angeles, CA, respectively to the new Culver City, CA facility located at 5800 Bristol Parkway.

“We are excited to bring together under one roof the best professional hair care brands in the industry,” said Stefan Mund, Regional Head of Henkel Beauty Care Hair Professional North America. “By bringing together operations, we will further strengthen our footprint in the U.S. as well as our overall Henkel culture, which is the catalyst for cross-company knowledge sharing and collaboration.”

The new site will be a state-of-the-art space, generating an environment of openness and creativity. Henkel will occupy the entire 7th floor, which will include an open loft space for easy interaction for the employees relocating. The new facility will be home to a world-class learning center/multi-branded beauty care academy that will offer significant customer engagement and interaction while demonstrating professional hair care capabilities across the four brands. This is a significant opportunity to accelerate the business, enabling Henkel to continue its industry-leading market development in professional beauty care around the world. The new headquarters will become Henkel’s Professional Home, under one roof.
