Contract Manufacturing Quality Assurance Manager – NA Beauty

Are you a Senior Quality Engineer or Quality Manager in an ISO 9001 facility with some FDA/Regulatory experience who is looking to expand their Quality Process Management skills from a single plant to a multi-plant role? Do you have a track record of demonstrated performance improvements?

If this is you, Henkel Corporation has a challenging opportunity in their Stamford CT location working cross functionally with the Beauty division team to manage the quality performance of the Beauty Contract Manufacturing (CM) locations.

What we offer

This position will involve:

  • Auditing CM facilities for their business process performance as well as FDA/regulatory compliance.

  • Assisting in the disposition of non-conforming raw material and finished product and problem solving to prevent recurrence

  • Supporting new and revised product launches

  • Measuring/analyzing and coaching CM sites to improved quality performance

  • Reporting internally at Henkel on CM performance, identified gaps and action(s) being taken to improve performance. Drives change at the CM locations necessary for improved performance

  • Ensuring timely/effective closure of CM CAPA associated with product or quality system failure

  • Working with the cross functional project teams to identify quality risk and ensure action(s) to reduce/eliminate the risk are effective.

Position will require ~25% travel in North America.

Who we are looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering, or related field.
• 10-15 years related experience with supplier quality systems – both chemical and packaging.
• Strong background in FDA GMP 21 CFR 210 & 211 is a definite asset.
• ASQ certification is an asset.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 is an asset.
• Required to travel extensively throughout North America and occasionally globally as dictated.

• Thorough understanding of product development and business processes, regulatory requirements, and test methods required to deliver a quality product.
• Ability to conduct training at Henkel plants and co-packers to improve quality assurance systems.
