Chemical Operator - 2nd Shift

What we offer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe work environment
  • Be able to read and understand batch sheets for mixer operations.
  • Ability to understand and correct process variability.
  • Perform all necessary duties to make batches
    • Stage raw materials
    • Load mixers
    • Test product
  • Maintain clean work environment, adhering to 5S standards, including, but not limited to, operate pressure washer, sweep floors, operate floor scrubber and trash removal
  • Complete batch sheets and housekeeping paperwork
  • Operate and work with various pumps and hoses to transfer material between containers and kettles
  • Sample products for QC testing
  • Operate sit down and walk behind forklifts
  • Attend training as scheduled
  • Perform SAP duties as directed
  • Other duties as directed by supervision

Who we are looking for

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education — High school diploma or GED; Must be able to pass Henkel’s basic skills assessments
  • Experience — 3-5 years manufacturing experience, forklift experience
  • Special skills — computer knowledge
  • Certifications and licenses — N/A

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 55 lbs.

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time

  • Must be able to pass forklift certification and operate the forklift on a daily basis
