National Business Manager, Multi-channel eCommerce

The National Business Manager is responsible to develop a strategic partnership with the customer that delivers on Henkel Beauty Care’s objectives in net sales, profitability, market share, and trade management. Strengthen Henkel’s position as the customer’s preferred partner by providing category solutions with Henkel brands. Ensure a solid understanding and execution of all brand commercialization. Develop new business opportunities to maximize sales and influence. Partner with the customer to optimize Brand opportunities and positioning. Successfully integrate and partner with all internal teams to deliver business solutions.

What we offer

  • Be the preferred partner and expert eCommerce advisor with key Multi-Channel customers (Target, Kroger, Walgreens, etc) to accelerate and exploit online business opportunities.
  • Cooperate closely with the Account Teams, eCommerce team, & Digital Marketing/Shopper Marketing teams to implement omnichannel plans that address assortment, promotional planning, budgeting, and execution.
  • Support launch strategy and execution plan of all innovation (items and new brands) in LHC with effective project management to drive adoption of marketing and brand initiatives for the customer‘s e-commerce website.
  • Support promotional negotiations for optimal promotion planning and investments.
  • Manage internal and external customer communications.
  • Provide strategic direction, advice, content & insights to cross functional resources and local Multi-Channel teams.
  • Deliver monthly forecasting of revenue, net sales, and retail sales.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain on inputs and metrics to ensure optimization of sales.
  • Closely cooperate with the broader eCommerce Team, including Innovation Mgr, Content Mgr, Sales Analysts, Brokers, Supply Chain and other internal stakeholders to drive sustainable growth of Henkel’s Beauty business with our online customers.
  • Closely cooperate with eCommerce Director & the global e-commerce sales unit to share global best practices and deliver against Global KPI’s
  • Carry out “Actual vs. Plan” analysis of financial KPIs
  • Monitor & benchmark achievement of quantitative and qualitative KPIs
  • Pursue appropriate, strategic alliances that support aggressive market share and revenue growth and execute profitable market penetration strategies.
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor degree required; advanced degree a plus
  • 5+ years of retail, CPG or account management experience. Experience working with online customers preferred.
  • Track record of profitable growth
  • Prior functional experience in supply chain, marketing, category management, etc. preferred
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • General business management knowledge
  • Financial acumen
  • Relationship building skills
  • Microsoft Word, Excel & Powerpoint
