The National Account Sales Manager drives sales activities of the company by supporting the assigned distribution network with strategic Planning and execution of the plan to achieve sales goals while maintaining expense budgets.

What we offer

• Provide analysis of sales data using internal shipment data and external sources such as reports from distributors. This data to be reported weekly, monthly, or ad-hoc, based on needs of the sales organization.
• Develop monthly inventory flows plans to include Shipments (Selling in), Takeaway (Consumption Sales) and ending Retailer Inventory.
• Analyzes sales forecasts to plan product procurement and inventory needs, verifying risks of backorders and shortages, with particular attention to major key accounts.
• Track the success/failure of new items and promotional efforts and make recommendations for future improvement
• Review and assure ongoing productivity and profitability of the retailer/distributor assortment. Proactively identify trends and opportunities to drive sales.
• Assist in planogram development for new items and line reviews to ensure space and distribution reflects sales data.
• Generate standardized reports on sales information to track attainment of growth objectives, e.g., sales results, historical growth, market growth trends, sales exceptions and product use.
• Must possess an entrepreneurial spirit while operating within corporate guidelines

Who we are looking for

• BS and 2+ years of Finance, Sales or Marketing experience within the consumer products industry
• Systems proficiency (Business Intelligence, SAP, Jet, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Good oral and written communication
• Good analytical skills, able to interpret and exploit syndicated data
• Time management – able to prioritize multiple tasks
• Minimal Travel
