The Material Handler is primarily responsible for the receiving, warehousing, issuing and shipment of plant goods. The Material Handler is responsible for the safe movement of material to and from warehouse racks, through production, and the loading and unloading of trucks utilizing power forklifts and other handling equipment. The Material Handler processes receipts and shipment documents directly from the SAP system using source documentation and established reports. The Material Handler ensures all outbound shipments meet the requirements of international dangerous goods regulations and U.S. export & import control regulations.

What We Offer

  • Identify product lines by code complete transaction sheets and pick material from the pick sheet  
  • Do inventory inquiries in Pre-stage containers and raw materials for upcoming batches from pick list pre-stage and pick partially filled containers for upcoming batches  
  • Maintain stock levels of raw materials and containers Load and check hot boxes inventories throughout the week, communicate with other Material Handlers to establish coverage, and repackage raw materials and finish goods as needed.
  • Transport dirty drums and finished goods to designated storage areas  
  • Draw and load batches with assistance from other Operators Maintain an efficient workplace

Who we are looking for

  • Material handling experience in a manufacturing environment 
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Inventory control skills / experience  
  • PC experience, good math and communication skills  
  • At least one year of forklift driving experience required Must be able to lift and stack 50-55 lb drums and bags in substantial quantities 
  • Must be able to wear respirator as required
