Paralegal, Beauty Professional

 YOUR ROLE

  • Partner with supervisor to fulfill Henkel’s Beauty Professional operations as requested;
  • Conduct marketing and advertising reviews of all Beauty Professional products independently;
  • Review advertising assets (e.g. product labels) and all advertising media (e.g. print ads) as well as social media for all Beauty Professional brands, as requested;
  • Coordinate with R&D and Regulatory colleagues for Beauty Professional, including those located in both Culver City, CA and Darien, CT, to ensure adequate testing protocols and proper substantiation for all claims on product labels and marketing collateral;
  • Support Global Legal Department personnel in global legal projects, as requested.
  • Work with marketing colleagues to ensure all deadlines for review are met and Litigation Department on any and all litigation matters as appropriate.
  • Attend weekly and/or biweekly brand-specific team meetings to discuss and align on assignments;

 YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate or equivalent experience required; Notary public certification;
  • At least five (5) years related law firm or in-house experience in Marketing, and Advertising and Contract law;
  • Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel; and a willingness to learn other systems, including Legal Contract Management (LCM), Workamajig and SEAL platforms;
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, managing competing demands and frequent changes, delays or unexpected events;
