Logistics Process & Systems Manager

YOUR ROLE

  • Manage, monitor and provide first level of support to issues from logistics systems or process 

  • Spearheading the process of moving a change from development to production. Test and deploy customizations, interfaces or enhancements supporting Sales and Distribution. Prepare and maintain change control and validation documentation. 

  • Actively participate in - and sometimes lead - the development of processes to capture data and extract data in usable formats. 

  • Aid in developing processes for high accuracy, timely information reporting 

  • Ad hoc and standard report creation 

  • Management, monitoring and first level support in case of issues from logistics system/process perspective 

  • Design, implementation and improvement of logistics reporting tools 

  • Collaboration with all logistics areas (warehousing as well as transportation) and interaction with external parties (LSPs and Carriers) 

  • Key logistic contact for Henkel IT and external related suppliers

YOUR SKILLS

  • Strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to translate business processes or concepts into technical requirements are essential. 

  • Good understanding of computer systems concepts, and modules of SAP; and familiarity with configuration and customization standards are required. User experience with SAP and other IT logistics systems required. 

  • Sound understanding of SAP, data mining and the ability to read and interpret process flow documentation and translate this into configuration and customization requirements is also required. 

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on concurrent projects, and in supporting problem tickets by working with end users, subject matter experts, and Business Analyst Manager to gather requirements, present solutions and participate in the selection of the best solutions. 

  • A Bachelor degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a relevant business discipline, preferably combined with 1 to 3 years’ experience as a SAP Business Analyst, or as a subject matter expert in the SD or LE functional areas of SAP. 

  • Fundamental skills in MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point, Visio, and Power BI reporting are preferred 

  • 5-10 years’ experience, with preference given to transportation and logistics experience
