  • The Safety, Health, Environmental (SHE) Specialist will manage the safety program four Henkel sites to ensure compliance to governmental (local, state, federal) regulations, and conformance to applicable Management Systems and Henkel Standards.
  • The position will interact daily with various facility employees as it pertains to SHE programs and perform appropriate training as required to support the site’s continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Performs, coordinates or participates in internal and external SHE assessments (i.e. PHAs, JSAs, Ergonomic Assessments, ISO…) to ensure compliance with SHE Standards and regulations.
  • Investigation of incidents including root cause analyses, assisting in the development of corrective actions and documentation of results in SHEcom.
  • Safety alert review and site assessment
  • Lead Contractor review process and risk analysis of contractors
  • Bachelors Degree is required.
  • 2+ years of related safety, health and environmental experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment is required. 
  • Ability to travel up to 20% is required. 
  • Experience with ISO 14001 is preferred.
