YOUR ROLE

  • Technical Customer Service Intern with a background in chemistry for the summer and fall semesters of 2021 to assist with lab projects for new business opportunities and customer troubleshooting.
  • Duties to include completing lab projects in the areas of Surface Treatments, Cleaner and Lubricants.
  • Collaboration with the Technical Customer Service team to assist with problem solving through various lab experiments and projects.
  • An opportunity to expand your skills by participating in a research project with the team.

YOUR SKILLS

  • The ideal candidate will be working towards a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. Familiarity with basic benchtop chemistry such as acid base titrations, pH measurements, and volume measurements using the metric system.
  • Computer skills in MS office a plus.
  • Some physical activity, such as lifting five gallon pails and processing lab parts that typically weight from 0.5-10 pounds each, is required.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written form, are required to present ideas, solutions and data.
