YOUR ROLE

  • Design new product innovation strategy.
  • Lead the team in trend spotting, ideation, evaluation, testing, packaging, formula development of new products and/or brand re-stage projects across hair care and hair color categories.
  • Brand development: Create differentiated positioning, concepts, claims, messaging, package art and other brand holder materials that help drive brand equity and garner a competitive advantage and establish a clear brand identity. Includes product portfolio management. Initiate and lead market research initiatives with professional stylists and consumers to uncover customer insights, behaviors and preferences that help inform new product decisions.
  • Work effectively cross-functionally with key departments to maximize marketing strategy and to ensure initiatives meet and/or exceed goals.
  • Financial Accountability. Design and review budgets.
  • Promote effective planning, strong communication, teamwork, and trust to build Dept. and Org. strength

YOUR SKILLS

  • 7-10 years of experience
  • 5 years managerial experience
  • BS/BA in Marketing, Business Administration or related field MBA preferred
