Job Summary
As the Production Steering Controller, you will coordinate with the plant controllers located in Latin America, responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, developing monthly reports, and maintaining an effective system of financial controls for the manufacturing sites.  Supports the wider organization with business case and COGs development, capital investment assessments, and financial scenarios.  Assists the plant controllers to track and review the financial status and performance of the plant to investigate financial issues and identify areas for improvement.


Responsibilities
•Assist plant controllers with the development of the plant’s financials including creating and reviewing reports, monthly/annual budgeting, and financial forecasts for the Region in close alignment with Global Finance.
•Ability to analyze trends and identify areas to reduce waste, improve cost and optimize efficiencies throughout the manufacturing environment.
•Develop strategic recommendations and plans for areas of investment and footprint/sourcing changes.
•Partner with Manufacturing Strategy Managers to develop capex assessments for investment projects and COGs financials related to innovation, cost savings, and complexity optimization projects.
•Support make-vs-buy analysis and decisions across internal & external manufacturing locations in North America & Latin America.
•Drive insightful analytics, review financial data, and prepare reports to be presented to management and key stakeholders to help drive business decisions.
•Positively influence others, leads by example, coach and develop plant controllers to establish robust standards and best practices across the plant operations teams.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or relevant education and work experience.
  • Multi-lingual – Fluent in both English and Spanish, preferred.
  • 7+ years of proven leadership experience in Finance.
  • Possess a deep understanding of current financial regulations, standards and procedures.
  • 5+ years of experience in FMCG with Manufacturing Operations with solid technical problem-solving skills.
  • Organizational, communication, and leadership skills, demonstrated by previous professional success.
  • Excellent project management skills with sound judgement and decision-making skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics using business management software (e.g., SAP, ERP).

The salary for this role is $112,700 - $173,200. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range.  This salary range may also be modified in the future.
