What you'll do

  • Commercial Strategy Manager is responsible for managing & enabling achievement of over $900M in sales and profit objectives through development, alignment, implementation of business plans - that achieve customer and Henkel business goals.
  • The incumbent plays an instrumental role in the development of their respective franchise/product strategies related to DPSM (distribution, pricing, shelving and merchandising) as well as defining sales related goals.
  • The incumbent is responsible for maximizing the over $325M trade budget for their respective Brand.
  • The incumbent is responsible for leading the new item launch process for assigned franchises or products and coordinates the efforts of marketing, supply chain, merchandising, and sales/business planning to ensure on-time delivery and effective implementation of the plan.
  • The incumbent serves as a liaison between sales and marketing by representing the voice of our customers to marketing and by providing knowledge of marketing and brand strategies to the field.
  • Incumbent's participation in key cross functional meetings is critical in gaining alignment on strategies, marketing/consumer initiatives, forecasts/demand, financials and supply chain fulfillment.
  • Position is viewed as influential in directing franchise goal attainment.

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic individual to join our team in a key role within our laundry cleaning business, a critical area of focus as we invest heavily for future growth. Our laundry portfolio includes globally recognized brands like Persil, a leading brand worldwide, and Purex, a beloved local gem with deep consumer loyalty. Both brands play an essential role in our long-term expansion plans, and this is your opportunity to make a tangible impact on their success.
As part of an exciting and collaborative team, you will contribute to shaping national strategies across a wide range of customer channels, including traditional retail and eCommerce (Omni-channel).

What makes you a good fit

  • 5-7 Years of Experience in Customer Marketing, Strategy or Sales within a CPG Company 
  • Direct customer sales experience.
  • Strong analytical & financial acumen.
  • Positive can-do attitude -- collaborative, team-oriented approach -- diligent work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, complex, matrix and fluid environment. 
  • Ability to devise and deliver persuasive presentations, based on data-driven insights and facts, to gain support for business strategies and/or initiatives.
  • Ability to identify and assess risk and prioritize competing demands. 
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications, database information sources, and web applications.
  • Category management, Business Analytics, Trade Marketing experience a plus but not required.

The salary for this role is $120,000 - $170,000. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range.  This salary range may also be modified in the future.
