PD Technician

YOUR ROLE

• Experienced in adhesive development and have passion textile related applications.
  
• Technical owner of products with ambition to drive product portfolio upgrade and property improvement.
  
• Entrepreneur, who is committed to drive the business win by providing superior technical solutions.
  
• Collaborator with all functions to work closely to achieve project success.

• Responsibilities:
  
  
• Develop PU HM for textile applications. Lead product development project independently including new product development, formula modification and product localization.
  
• Drive supplier innovation by identify new raw materials and conduct raw material evaluation to drive continuous cost optimization and property upgrade.
  
• Closely work with AO to drive new product introduction, work with process engineer team to optimize production process, support quality team to set raw material/product technical specifications, and
  Provide technical support to customers and internal AE/Sales/KAM teams.
  
• Study available patent landscape and strengthen Henkel‘s IP through patent development in area of competence.
  
• Participates in site's safety and/or 5S programs.

YOUR SKILLS

• Master’s degree or higher.
  
• Major in polymer science, material science, or chemistry related.
• At least 5 years’ professional experience in product development for polyurethane field, including adhesives, sealant, coating, and polymer synthesis. Experiences on PU adhesive is preferred.
  
• Demonstrate ability to solve fundamental problems associated with assigned team, technology, application and/or product line.
  
• Demonstrate know-how on analysis and office tools.
  
• Efficient schedule management capability.
  
• Good communication skills among cross functional teams.
  
• Fluent English both in written and oral.
