YOUR ROLE

  • Effectively manage process engineering and maintenance issues with the right skills in the team, and effective works; Manage and develop a high performing process, maintenance, and/or part of process safety, HPS training (e.g. RBM)
  • Manage new technologies such as new process, project, product, and/or process safety etc. and be a key user of Smart Factory System; Adhere to daily and weekly checks to ensure smooth operations
  • Set up the planned maintenance schedule, ensure full preventative and predictive maintenance to be carried out, and lead the team to deliver effectively; Analyze process and maintenance histories of machines and facilities to reduce their downtime
  • Manage and connect planned activities with TPM activities and HPS; Optimize equipment through the investment and management of change procedures to enhance performance and product quality
  • Co-work with production, operation administration and other relevant departments
  • Take responsibility for planning and managing plant project budgets; Develop clear accountability for the budget spending
  • SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality) management; Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks
  • Implement safety, health and environmental policies and procedures to prevent any risk; Recommend solutions without compromising quality or service

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field is required
  • Minimum of seven (7) years' work experience in process engineering and safety is required
  • Work experience in chemical, mechanical equipment and/or related industry is required; At least one (1) year experience in people managing is strongly preferred
  • Good communication in English is required and Korean is native
  • Excellent command of MS office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) is required
  • Able to commute to Cheonan plant
  • Initiative, passionate, willingness to learn
