YOUR ROLE

  • As part of our Regional Application Engineering Team, adhesive and sealant Industrials, you will be responsible for customer-facing technical support, as well as supporting customer/market applications and engineering projects.
  • You will be responsible for managing customer technical requests, product recommendations, customised products applications, new product demonstrations and troubleshooting for customers
  • You will conduct at customer sites trials, trainings, and troubleshooting.
  • You will realise lab tests and write detailed technical reports for customers.
  • You will contribute to developing innovative solutions.
  • You will collaborate closely with Sales, Product Development, Marketing, develop expertise and drive regular knowledge sharing, e. g. with laboratory demonstrations and trainings

YOUR SKILLS

  • You have obtained a Master’s degree in material science, mechanical engineering or a comparable field of study
  • You have preferably 5+ years  experience preferably in adhesives or sealants
  • You think analytically, show initiative, and are enthusiastic about working in an international team and environment.
  • You demonstrate strong communication skills including with customers 
  • You are open for business trips up to 30% of your time
  • Fluent in English (spoken, written), German skills would be an advantage
