Facilities Engineer- Zotos

YOUR ROLE 

  • Provide facilities engineering support in the areas of batch processing, infrastructure, boilers, chillers, towers, and waste water to enable production departments to achieve business goals.
  • Perform facilities monitoring, process, and equipment improvement studies.
  • Scope facilities related improvement projects to improve redundancy, reliability, service, and cost. 
  • Achieve strong relationships and effective communications with production and maintenance staff.
  • Provide engineering analysis that supports continued development of process and mechanical integrity programs, standard operating procedures, and preventative maintenance practices.
  • Provide technical support to mitigate SHE risks; participate and utilize process safety information, process hazard analyses, pre-startup safety reviews, and safe work processes.
  • Participate in root-cause failure analyses and audits to reduce service outages and improve equipment and process reliability
  • Initiation & implementation of facility improvement projects (capital projects)
  • Maintain facilities and process drawings and documentation in AutoCAD.
  • Own facilities adherence to the established Management of Change, Process Safety Management, and Risk Management Plans.



YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering Required.
  • Desired 3+ years of facilities engineering experience working specifically with Waste Water Treatment, Boilers, and chilled water systems.
  • Proven experience leading and executing facilities related capital projects.
  • Job specific training, seminars, and certifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and AutoCad.
  • Waste Water Treatment Operation & Effluent Testing (Dissolved Air Flotation).
  • Proficiency in the operation and maintenance of Boilers, Chillers and Towers.
  • Exposure to a maintenance organization.
  • Capital Project Management – PMP Certification a Plus.
