Automation Engineer (Industrial Robotics)

YOUR ROLE

  • Design, develop, create, troubleshoot custom automated equipment and production lines. Provide technical continuous improvements with existing equipment and project lead for design, justification, and implementation of new equipment projects. Responsible for the qualification of equipment modifications and standard equipment installation to support continued process output. 

  • Provide daily factory support of one or more process areas. 

  • Technical problem solving in support of Production cells in panel manufacturing and circuit manufacturing as assigned by the Engineering Manager. 

  • Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Engineering degree in BSEE, BSME, or equivalent degree from a four-year college or university is required. 

  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience, experience with machine/motion/robotics control systems and software. (PLC/Other software) is required. 

  • Understanding of mechanical engineering/design concepts.

  • Knowledge of facilities, fabrication materials and Industrial Engineering disciplines. 

  • Able to apply advanced mathematical concepts, when researching, collecting and analyzing data.
