YOUR ROLE

  • Properly read and conduct Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, Safety Documents, and Manufacturing Instructions 

  • Move 1-5 gallon containers of material in and out of -40 C freezers 

  • Operate weighing, mixing, milling, and ram press equipment of various types

  • Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and work area between jobs to avoid safety hazards and cross contamination 

  • Handle temperature and UV sensitive material in a safe and timely manner

YOUR SKILLS

  • High school diploma or technical school graduate, or general education diploma (GED), with 1 to 3 years related experience, preferably in a production environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

  • Must be able to read, speak, and write legibly in English, and be able to understand and follow verbal/written instructions. 

  • Must be in good physical condition and with no restrictions in movement and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis during a shift. 

  • Must be able to work overtime before and after the start of a normal shift, also on weekends. 

  • Must be able to follow company rules regarding the safe handling of hazardous chemicals and must be computer proficient (Lotus Notes, Internet, SAP, Windows 7, Microsoft Office)
