YOUR ROLE

  • The Manufacturing Customer Service representative will primarily engage in day-to-day customer service, order entry, product related inquiries and resolution/escalation of customer issues.
  • Accountable for driving operational excellence and improving customer partnerships through the execution of high-quality service delivery.
  • Use their judgment and knowledge of strategic plans for each customer to respond to requests for orders, support and other services.
  • Make appropriate service decisions based on knowledge of the business strategy and goals for each customer and product.
  • Manage customer expectations by clearly communicating our commitments to the customer, i.e.. delivery dates or problem resolution.
  • Recommend process changes to increase efficiency of operations and service to customers.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in customer service in a B2B environment having demonstrated a commitment to customer loyalty, advocacy, engagement, and retention is required.
  • Experience with SAP and EDI desired.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and escalate customer issues as required.
