  • Creative & Product Development

  • Bring to life innovative and impactful new products, from concept to launch

  • Drive innovation in all fields of product creation, from packaging to formula to art deco

  • Bring to life educational & editorial photo/video shoots from concept to execution

  • Professional beauty salon industry experience not required but highly attractive

  • Stay connected to the industry with field visits, trade show attendance, etc Market Analysis, Research & Portfolio Development

  • Analyzing sales data (excel) and creating recommendations on products, customers & market needs

  • Understand / bring key insights from current and future market trends and dynamics

  • Collaborate with and support as needed cross functional departments (Key account managers, sales, R&D, supply chain, education teams)

  • Manage the day-to-day project timelines & logistics


  • Must be LA Area Based. 

  • Travel Required 10%

  • Bachelors Required (all fields considered), Masters/MBA OR Cosmetology degree preferred

  • 4+ years working experience in trade marketing or equivalent salon experience, OR 2-3 years product development experience in CPG or Beauty categories

  • Helps other succeed – a true team player

  • Displays empathy, mindfulness & curiosity

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to convince & influence

  • Acts as brand advocate and representation towards internal and external customers

  • High level of passion, initiative, and assertiveness

  • Demonstrated collaborative approach to strategic issues

  • Passion for the beauty/fashion industry

  • Professional understanding of sub-disciplines such as e-comm, digital, events, and PR
