Featuring a state-of-the-art nonwovens single and dual lamination hygiene coater, the nonwovens production coater enables a wide range of adhesive application technologies to support any nonwoven disposable conversion process. The coater is operated by Henkel’s applications engineering team and provides the opportunity for brand owners to collaborate and run trials for new adhesive applications. This enables immediate evaluation of new product trials using Henkel’s TECHNOMELT® portfolio of hot melt adhesives for the nonwoven disposables industry combine high adhesion with efficacy for baby diaper, feminine hygiene, and adult incontinence products.
Packaging is the center piece of food safety and expanded shelf life, and with an ever-increasing demand for innovative and sustainable packaging driven by retailers and consumers. Henkel is applying its expertise to focus on delivering solutions without compromising on its high standards of performance and versality. Focused primarily on LOCTITE® adhesive and coatings, the new labs are designed for evaluation, design and testing, full-scale equipment, and state-of-the-art customer training facilities to support the needs of converters and brand owners.
Changes in mattress construction requires innovative approaches to assure happy consumers. From waterborne or hot melt adhesive chemistries to sprayable or roll-on applications, manufacturers require faster dry times, better bonding strength, improved flexibility and increased application ease. This lab features equipment to test engineered wood bonding and fire testing, along with furniture and mattress adhesive application testing.
