Three words to describe your internship experience:
collaborative, analytical and problem solving.

What is the greatest learning you will take home after your internship at Henkel?
The biggest thing I am learning is how to communicate and maintain good relationships in any setting. No matter the person, audience or customer, my managers and co-workers show that openness and discipline are critical. My TCS manager showed that some projects that start out small can turn around to bring a new product to a customer. He is teaching me have patience and give each assignment the same attention, because there can always be something discovered.

Being an intern at Henkel, what do you like most about it?
My undergraduate studies as a biology and chemistry student are so relevant to this internship. My previous experience as a lab technician really helped me to have speed and efficiency when I am working on projects. I love how every day is different with my tasks, but I still work at the same pace and prioritize wisely. My supervisor and manager are gearing my internship to what I need, but they also giving me independence to make decisions that instill growth.

What is unique about working at Henkel?
The collaboration and change that happens. I like that Henkel is forward thinking and listens to their employees and customers. They really work hard on hitting the sweet spot in the market while also doing things that are ergonomic and environmentally the cleanest. My input seems valued and needed.
