As a Prism Associate in the Application Engineering or Sales Engineering track in Henkel’s Prism rotational program, you will support the commercial and technical needs of our customers through lab-based and customer-facing projects and activities. You will be exposed to both different adhesive markets and technologies within our Application Engineering department, spending 2-3 months in each rotation. During this time, you will work on various projects addressing customer needs and assisting in general market initiatives, from performance validation and data generation for new product introductions to designing test methods for new applications. After completion of the program, Prism Associates in the Sales Engineering track often move into a commercial role (such as a Field Sales Engineer) and Prism Associates in the Application Engineering Track often move into a role on one of our Application Engineering teams.

As a Prism Associate in the Sales & Marketing track in Henkel’s Prism rotational program, you will gain experience in sales and marketing in our Consumer Adhesives division. You will gain a deep understanding of our consumer adhesive products, our customers and distributors, and many other aspects of sales and marketing including brand management, digital media, advertising, account management, and more. During the program, you may have opportunities to visit sales offices and key customers in support of our sales teams. As a PRISM Associate in Adhesives Operations, and part of Global CHAiNGERS, you will be based in a manufacturing site gaining experience in operations functions and rotating through various projects. You will spend approximately 4-6 months in each rotation where you will develop a deep understanding of multiple adhesive chemistries, applications, and markets specific to your business unit as well as an overall knowledge of our product portfolios. In each rotation, you will not only develop and formulate adhesives for specific applications, but also have the opportunity to learn about your own skills and grow personally through the wide range of courses made available to each Associate. Additionally, each Prism Chemist will work on a year-long capstone project, which will help you develop your skills and network. After completion of the program, Prism Chemists will be placed in one of the various Product Development teams where you will be able to integrate quickly as a result of the continuous support and feedback from your personal mentor and managers you received during the Prism Program.
