Forbes 2018: Henkel Ranks Amongst America’s Best Employers

For the third time in a row, Henkel was recognized in the Forbes ranking as one of America’s Best Large Employers. Based on the opinions of 30,000 Americans, Statista determined the ranking of companies with more than 5,000 employees.

Cannon Falls, MN plant awarded best place to work

In 2017, for the 8th year in a row, Bergquist’s Cannon Falls plant was awarded as one of the Best Places to Work in Southeast Minnesota by the Work Force Development. The Workforce Development of Southeast Minnesota serves ten counties. Recipients of the award completed a survey that included metrics on growth rate, internal promotions, training, benefits, community involvement and more.

Two CES 2018 Innovation Awards for Schwarzkopf Professional SalonLab™

Schwarzkopf Professional SalonLab – a digital ecosystem for quantifying and customizing the hair care experience, propelling hair salons into the digital age – made not only its debut at CES in Las Vegas but is also two-time recipient of the CES 2018 Innovation Awards.

“Product of the Year" 2018 awards in the US

Schwarzkopf Gliss Ultimate Repair Anti-Damage Mask and Purex Crystals Botanicals were winners at the Product of the Year USA 2018 awards, the world’s largest consumer-voted award for product innovation. Both products were honored in their respective categories of Beauty and Laundry Boosters.

EMI Shielding and Thermal Interface Materials win 2018 NPI Awards

Henkel’s Adhesive Electronics business won two trophies in Circuits Assembly magazine’s annual NPI Awards contest which recognizes leading products for electronics assembly introduced during the last year. Henkel’s novel package-level EMI shielding materials and its peelable thermal interface material (TIM), Bergquist Gap Filler TGF 1500RW, took the top honors in their respective categories.
 

Henkel is among the “World's Most Admired Companies” in 2018.

In Fortune's “World's Most Admired Companies” ranking, Henkel was confirmed as one of the most reputable companies in its industry category, “Soaps & Cosmetics,” finishing in fourth place.

Schwarzkopf GLISS wins 2017 Allure Best of Beauty Award

Schwarzkopf GLISS won its first Best of Beauty Award from Allure magazine in its first year to market in the United States. Schwarzkopf GLISS Ultimate Repair Shampoo and Conditioner were awarded in the "Best Shampoo and Conditioner for Damaged Hair" category.

US “Product of the Year 2017”

Two Henkel brands, Schwarzkopf  Keratin Color and Snuggle Plus SuperFresh were awarded “Product of the Year” in their respective categories. “Product of the Year” is the world’s largest consumer-voted award for product innovation where winners are backed by the votes of 40,000 consumers in a national representative survey conducted by research partner, Kantar TNS.

Technomelt wins 2017 NPI award

Henkel’s Technomelt AS 8998 hot melt masking material won a New Product Introduction Award from Circuits Assembly magazine. The award was handed over at the IPC APEX Expo, an event that attracts global players from the printed circuit board and electronic manufacturing industry.

Sustainability

Henkel Awarded Gold Assessment Category

As a member of the “Together for Sustainability” initiative, Henkel’s sustainability management was assessed by the international rating agency, EcoVadis. Based on its corporate social responsibility rating, Henkel was placed in the highest assessment category.

Included in FTSE4Good since 2001

For the 18th consecutive year, Henkel is included in the FTSE4Good Index Series, which was first introduced by the Financial Times and the London Stock Exchange in 2001.
