Two awards for Henkel: Schwarzkopf GLISS® Ultimate Repair Anti-Damage Mask and Purex® Crystals Botanicals were winners at the Product of the Year USA 2018 awards, the world’s largest consumer-voted award for product innovation. At the Product of the Year awards show last week, both products were honored in their respective categories of Beauty and Laundry Boosters.
Product of the Year is an international annual awards competition, recognizing companies for quality and product innovation. Each year, Product of the Year USA accepts entries from new consumer products launched within the previous year that demonstrate advancement within their industry. "Product of the Year answers an essential question – 'How do I find great new products – with so many launches, so many claims, how do you find the best?' This year, a record number of products entered to compete for the winning spot in their respective categories. With the help of 40,000 consumers nationwide, we are excited to champion these winners as they have achieved that validation," said Mike Nolan, CEO of Product of the Year.
Henkel scored twice at the Product of the Year awards for the second consecutive year. In 2017, Schwarzkopf Keratin Color and Snuggle Plus SuperFresh were awarded Product of the Year USA in their respective categories.
Purex Crystals Botanicals launched in 2017 and comes in two different variants: Cherry Blossom & Ginger and Warm Sandalwood & Vanilla. These laundry scent boosters provide a blend of essential oils and minerals with a dye-free formula that can last up to 12 weeks.
Making its way from Europe, the Gliss Hair Repair collection, which includes the Ultimate Repair Anti-Damage Mask, launched in the US in 2017. Powered by a high-performance formula, it provides deep reconstruction, more shine and up to 95 percent stronger hair.
