We Have a Dream: Henkel’s Next Generation Shares their Hopes for the Future

Black History Month 2022

As Black History Month comes to a close, it is important to reflect on and celebrate the contributions of Black and African Americans to society, but also take a moment to consider how we can carry on these conversations and continue our efforts to build a more diverse, equitable and inclusive society throughout the year.  As pioneers for the good of generations, the steps we take as a company and the dialogues we foster today will be critical in helping to create a world where everyone feels like they belong.

In celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, we invited the young relatives of Henkel employees in the U.S. to participate in an art and essay contest where they were asked to illustrate and share their dreams for the future. Inspired by Dr. King’s “I Have a Dream” speech, the participating children brought his message to life through original artwork and essays.
