About this Position

This is a hands-on SHE Specialist role focused on driving safety, health, and environmental standards across our operations, with a strong emphasis on risk assessment, contractor management, and continuous improvement in line with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.

What you´ll do

  • Support the implementation and upkeep of EHS management systems, including maintaining records and documentation in line with recognized standards (ISO 45001 & ISO 14001).
  • Assist with coordinating construction project documentation, permits, and contractor management processes.
  • Prepare and maintain records of task, equipment, chemical, and machinery risk assessments.
  • Provide administrative support for the industrial hygiene programme, including scheduling monitoring and keeping logs updated.
  • Support the EH&S team with documentation and communication for management of change and chemical-related projects.
  • Coordinate logistics and materials for EH&S training programmes and keep attendance/training records up to date.
  • Draft, format, and update EH&S procedures and ensure controlled versions are distributed and archived correctly.
  • Assist in logging and tracking incident/accident investigations, including maintaining records of root cause analysis and follow-up actions.
  • Provide administrative support for SHE projects and initiatives, including scheduling meetings, tracking progress, and preparing reports.

What makes you a good fit

  • A recognised third level qualification in Safety and Health and / or Environmental Science / Engineering is a requirement.
  • Prior experience of working in a construction/manufacturing/chemical related industry.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and presentation skills.
  • Self-directed with demonstrated efficient work methods, problem solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
