About this Position

Henkel is looking for an experienced Corporate Communications Manager to lead and shape our communications strategy across the UK, Ireland, and Nordic countries. This is a leadership role with responsibility for managing projects, processes, and a team while building and protecting Henkel’s reputation in the cluster. You will act as spokesperson for Henkel in the region and ensure our messaging reflects local market needs while aligning with global priorities.

What you´ll do

  • Lead Cluster Communications: Develop and execute an internal and external communications strategy aligned with global priorities
  • Protect and Build Reputation: Manage Henkel’s corporate brand on local level and apply global frameworks to strengthen reputation
  • Engage Employees: Shape internal communications and support change management in partnership with HR
  • Act as Spokesperson: Drive media relations, adapt messaging for local markets, and coach senior leaders on media engagement
  • Transform Digital Channels: Enhance communications channels and formats; implement data-driven measurement frameworks
  • Manage Crises: Ensure readiness through crisis procedures and training in line with global standards
  • Lead Team and Budget: Develop team capabilities and manage cluster communications budget effectively

What makes you a good fit

  • Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field
  • 10+ years’ experience in corporate communications, ideally in an international environment
  • Proven expertise in reputation management, internal communications and media relations
  • Strong consulting and influencing skills; comfortable advising senior leaders
  • Excellent presentation, coaching, and negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on approach and ability to manage diverse stakeholders
  • Digital communications expertise and experience with data-driven frameworks
  • Skilled in crisis communications and aligning local needs with global strategies
  • Experience managing budgets and leading teams
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
