What you´ll do
Support Production Management:
- Assist in overseeing daily production activities to ensure safe, efficient operations aligned with production schedules and quality standards.
Participate in the implementation of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to improve productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resources.
Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and address technical issues promptly.
Warehouse and Inventory Management:
- Contribute to the accurate tracking and management of raw materials, finished goods, and intermediate storage to support seamless production and shipping processes.
- Support the use of digital tools and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to improve inventory accuracy and streamline operations.
- Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow and avoid stockouts or overages.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with departments such as procurement, quality, safety, and logistics to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
- Act as a liaison between production, warehouse, and customer service teams to address potential bottlenecks and improve workflow.
- Ensure alignment of production and warehouse activities with sustainability goals, such as waste reduction and minimizing carbon emissions.
Continuous Improvement and Digital Transformation:
- Assist in implementing Industry 4.0 technologies, such as IoT and predictive analytics, for real-time inventory and production tracking.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on process automation and data-driven decision-making.
- Support the integration of sustainable practices, including energy-efficient equipment and greener logistics.
What makes you a good fit
- Available to start: September for a duration of 5-6 months.
- Enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with ERP or WMS systems is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Enthusiasm for digitalization, sustainability, and process optimization.
