What you´ll do
The Principal Engineer, Infrastructure Solutions serves as a senior technical leader within the Engineering Solutions Group, supporting the development, standardization, and continuous improvement of engineering applications, design methodologies, technical tools, and customer solutions. This position focuses on enabling the engineering organization through project leadership, application development, product management support, technical documentation, customer-focused innovation, and operational excellence.
- Lead strategic initiatives that improve engineering efficiency, standardization, and scalability across a global applications engineering organization.
- Manage technical projects related to new application development, customer demonstrations, field testing, and deployment activities.
- Drive development and improvement of engineering tools, calculators, software applications, and design automation systems.
- Own and maintain technical standards, specifications, design methodologies, and knowledge management systems.
- Serve as the voice of the customer to identify opportunities for product enhancements and future technology development.
- Develop and deliver technical training programs for engineers, sales teams, and other stakeholders.
- Support conference presentations, technical publications, industry committees, and external thought leadership initiatives.
- Collaborate with third-party software developers and internal teams to implement engineering process improvements and digital solutions.
What makes you a good fit
- Engineering degree in Mechanical, Structural, Materials, Chemical, or a related discipline.
- Experience in pipeline integrity engineering, asset integrity management, composite repair systems, pressure-containing equipment, or related industrial infrastructure applications.
- Experience evaluating defects, performing engineering assessments, and recommending repair methodologies.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional technical improvement initiatives.
- Experience managing complex technical projects with minimal supervision.
- Experience developing technical standards, engineering procedures, training programs, or design tools.
- Experience translating customer needs into product improvements and business initiatives.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and capable of managing multiple priorities while driving projects to completion.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve complex customer and engineering challenges.

The salary range for this role is $110,000.00 and $130,000.00. This range represents the good‑faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
