Henkel is actively engaged with multiple programs to promote sustainable palm oil farming worldwide. Its activities in this area support SDG 8 (decent work and inclusive, sustainable economic growth) by providing smallholders with training in topics ranging from sustainable farming methods through to health and safety, and how to meet sustainable palm oil certification criteria.
Our sustainability strategy supports SDG 12 (responsible consumption and production) through its central aim of creating more value – for our customers and consumers, for the communities we operate in, and for the company – while reducing our environmental footprint.
