Henkel’s Rocky Hill, Connecticut, site serves as the North America headquarters and original home of the LOCTITE® adhesives brand. Rocky Hill’s 200,000 sq. ft. facility sits on a 57-acre sprawling campus and gathers some of the world’s leading materials scientists and numerous other professionals to help bring adhesive innovation to diverse industries such as filtration, handheld electronics, lighting, appliances and vehicle repair, among others.
History
Built in 1994 by The Loctite Corporation, the Rocky Hill facility joined Henkel when the company was acquired by Henkel in 1997. The site continues to celebrate the successful growth of the LOCTITE brand under Henkel’s leadership.
In recognition of the birthplace of the LOCTITE® brand and almost 30 years under Henkel leadership, the Rocky Hill team celebrated with a towering tribute to LOCTITE® Threadlocker adhesive products.
North America Headquarters and Home to Adhesive Technologies
As the official Henkel North America Headquarters, the Rocky Hill campus serves as the central hub for regional operations - bringing together more than 450 employees across multiple Strategic Business Units (SBUs), technical teams, and corporate functions. The site enables cross-functional collaboration, supports customer-facing activities, and drives strategic growth across diverse markets in the U.S. and Canada.
Rocky Hill also hosts several key businesses within Adhesive Technologies, including Adhesive General Manufacturing & Maintenance (ACM), Adhesive Metal & Industrial (AMI), and Adhesive Mobility & Electronics (AME). These teams work closely with customers across a wide range of industries, delivering LOCTITE® solutions, engineering expertise, and customized innovations that enhance performance, improve reliability, and boost productivity.
