An excellent opportunity has arisen for you to join as a Business Development Executive for the Indola brand, in the Wholesale channel. You will be responsible for creating & developing a customer base of Professional Hairdressers (Salons, Freelancers, Colleges etc) through new salon / freelancer business acquisition, commercial support, educational training & digital upskilling. Account managing of existing & New Customers whilst supporting the sales team achieving sales targets. This role will be covering the South West & M4 Corridor region. 

What you´ll do

  • Collaborating with our Preferred Partners to win new business & drive sales out. Main objective to win New Permanent Colour Customers via Salon & Independent Hairdressers acquisition.
  • Implement effective onboarding education for Salons whilst developing training opportunities within wholesale branches, appropriate venues, Hairdressing salons and Virtual & Digital platforms.
  • Work closely with cross functional colleagues in Marketing, Education & Sales to develop & execute the customer plans.
  • Ensure high quality retail merchandising of Indola & Schwarzkopf in store.
  • To complete and maintain effective reports.
  • To support Marketing initiatives, launches and promotional plans for all Indola (& Schwarzkopf Professional) Brands within the Wholesale sector.
  • Building strong relationships with wholesaler store managers & other key personnel. E.g. Digital & Technical.
  • Build a strong digital presence for the Indola brand (Instagram led) including content creation.
  • Achieve KPIs set across commercial & educational areas of the role.
  • Technical training and development of Preferred Partner sales teams at commercial meetings.

  • Commercial aptitude, with a Strong passion for the Professional Hairdressing Industry with experience & knowledge preferable.
  • Require Strong hairdressing skills of NVQ level 2+.
  • Excellent Presentation & Communication skills.
  • High level of organisational skills & time management.
  • Self-Motivated with Ambition to grow & succeed.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude with a commercial focus, driven by Educational knowhow.
  • Strong IT & Digital skills (including Instagram).
  • Good communicator at all levels of business.
  • Takes ownership & is solution oriented.
  • Full / clean UK driving licence.
