About this Position

The position is part of the Global Business Solution in Cairo (GBS+ Cairo), in the Global Tech Hub specifically handling the Data Analytics. 

What you´ll do

  • Contribute to data analytics and digital transformation projects on a global scale.
  • Work closely with business units and functions to analyze data, identify key drivers, and define the necessary analytics and KPIs that steer the business and enable data-driven decision making.
  • Participate in data processing and transformation to prepare data for building analytics solutions using cloud platforms.
  • Build data models following state-of-the-art schemas such as star schema and snowflake.
  • Contribute to developing dashboards and reports in Power BI, combining existing and new data sources to deliver actionable insights.
  • Support the design, development, and maintenance of data-driven solutions by piloting advanced tools and cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, Databricks).
  • Assist in data preprocessing and analysis across multiple systems to ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency. 

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor’s degree, master's degree in computer science, Business Informatics, Actuarial Sciences, or a related field.
  • 4–6 year of relevant work experience in data analytics, business intelligence or engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in Python for data processing & transformations, analytics, and automation (experience with R is a plus)
  • Proficiency in SQL and strong understanding of database Design & Data Modeling (e.g., star schema, snowflake).
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI (mandatory) or Tableau
  • Preferable experience with Microsoft Azure ecosystem (e.g., DevOps, Machine Learning,
    Databricks, Data Factory etc.) and familiarity with SAP processes.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
