About this Position
The Senior Material Master Data Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and availability of material master data that powers our operational and supply chain processes. As the team’s go‑to expert, this role helps the organization make well‑informed decisions by maintaining high-quality data standards and driving improvements that keep our systems efficient and reliable. You’ll be part of a collaborative data management team that works closely with cross-functional partners across the business. In this position, you’ll provide first-level support, contribute to continuous process enhancements, and help shape how material data is managed in our SAP landscape. This role offers the opportunity to lead key initiatives, strengthen end-to-end data accuracy, and support a culture of operational excellence. What you´ll do
- Ensure accurate and timely creation, update, deletion, and reactivation of material master data across all relevant SAP views (purchasing, MRP, sales, storage, work scheduling, warehouse, and QM)
- Lead and execute material master data projects, including mass uploads, process improvements, and initiatives where you may serve as project lead
- Coordinate closely with stakeholders to gather required information, respond to queries, monitor workflows, and release announcements for newly activated materials
- Generate master data reports/downloads, execute change requests, and perform data clean-up activities to support business needs
- Serve as first-level support for the team, ensuring smooth issue resolution and guidance on material master processes
- Support the Team Lead in maintaining up-to-date process documentation and providing training to users and new colleagues
- Assist the Team Lead with administrative tasks such as overtime tracking, KPI reporting, utilization updates, and other assignments from the manager
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Management or any related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of related work experience in Master Data Management from a shared service industry; Background in Master data maintenance is an advantage
- Intermediate Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required
- Experience in technical reporting and analysis using Microsoft and Power BI as well as experience in using VBA Macros, SAP Scripting is required
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English; Must be a team player with good skills in time management, analysis, and had great attention to details
- Amenable to work on a night-shift schedule (9:00 PM to 6:00 AM) and report on a hybrid work set-up in Ayala Avenue, Makati
