Must Have
- quality core tools incident investigation root-cause-analysis SHEQ management systems SHEQ international standards HACCP sustainability environmental impact assessment behaviour/ culture based safety risk assessment, HAZOP occupational health & safety continuous improvement six sigma, DMAIC
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Experience in manufacturing quality roles with 3–5 years of relevant work experience; experience in Japan is a plus.
- Knowledge of quality tools such as FMEA, MOC, SPC, A3, 8D, and 5 Why.
- Strong analytical and communication skills in both Japanese and English.
- Japanese: Business-level reading and writing (N1 preferred).
English: Business-level for regional team communication (approx. 30% of work). - Ability to work cross-functionally in a multicultural environment.
Nice to have
- Certification such as Six Sigma Green Belt.
- Experience with ISO standards or industry-specific regulations (support and training provided if needed).
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience with SAP system (training provided if needed).
- Experience with process improvement, production optimization, and efficiency projects.
