What you´ll do

The Technical Operator is assigned to a specific packaging line to work as part of a three or four-person team of multi-skilled technicians. All team members will be responsible for a variety of tasks from the receiving of packaging materials up to and including the production of finished goods. The team will start up, monitor and control the entire filling operation while maintaining quality standards, troubleshoot the operation when necessary and make appropriate adjustments. Technicians will be expected to enhance their current skill set to encompass basic leadership skills, multi-equipment operation (more than 1) and intermediate maintenance tasks such as changeovers, adjustments, lubrication, repairs, taken part in TBM’s. Teams will participate in the management of day-to-day operations for their area of the business and will be responsible for business results, i.e.: safety, quality, reliability, and costs. All team members will share in all tasks on the team.

  • Operates machines and production equipment safely in accordance with instructions
  • Sets up or adjusts equipment according to manufacturing specifications 
  • Ensure that all equipment operates smoothly and meets quality control standards to deliver high-quality products 
  • Monitors the quality of output to identify or discard re-manufacture faulty products 
  • Maintains accurate daily production records so that manufacturing performance can be analyzed. 
  • Participate in HPS activities. Like: DMS-Daily Management System: CILT, CL, DH, CILT-Cleaning, Inspection, Lubrication, Tightening, CL-Centerlining, DH-Defect Handling and TBM
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment, identifying and resolving technical issues.
  • Troubleshoot minor mechanical problems and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.

The salary for this role is $ 24.86 - $ 36.04 . This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
