What you´ll do

  • The Team Manager Global Trade leads end‑to‑end Foreign Trade operations for LATAM, ensuring compliance, high service quality, and efficient execution across multiple countries.
  • This role oversees a regional team, drives process alignment, manages stakeholders at all levels, and supports global initiatives, tool deployments, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • The manager is accountable for service performance, risk mitigation, resource planning, and budget management while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
  • Lead Global Trade / Foreign Trade operations for LATAM, ensuring compliance with regulations, FTAs, COO, and classification standards.
  • Manage day‑to‑day workflow, resource planning, and operational performance across multiple countries.
  • Drive process alignment, standardization, and adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and KPIs.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for regional/global teams, Centers of Expertise, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Oversee participation in global projects, tool rollouts, transitions, and control tower activities.
  • Ensure adherence to Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015) and promote continuous improvement.
  • Manage budget and identify cost optimization opportunities. Lead and develop the team through coaching, performance management, recruitment, and engagement.
  • Handle escalations and provide data-driven decisions to resolve complex issues.
  • Foster collaboration with global, regional, and local teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

What makes you a good fit

  • Expertise in Global/Foreign Trade operations for LATAM (classification, FTAs, COO, compliance).
  • Strong knowledge of SLAs, KPIs, and global standards.
  • Experience with global/regional teams and Centers of Expertise.
  • Ability to lead process alignment, workflows, and resource planning across countries.
  • Experience in project rollouts, transitions, and control towers.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and continuous improvement.
  • Budget management and cost optimization experience.
  • Degree in Business, Economics, Foreign Trade, International Relations, or similar.
  • Advanced English & Spanish (Portuguese a plus).
  • 8+ years experience, incl. 4–5 years in International Trade and proven leadership.
  • Strong leadership and people development.
  • Excellent stakeholder management.
  • Solid decision-making and autonomy.
  • Clear communication and escalation management.
  • Analytical, problem-solving mindset.
