What you´ll do

  • A Maintenance Planner optimizes operational efficiency by planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring parts and resources are ready to minimize downtime.
  • They create detailed work orders, manage CMMS data, and align maintenance with production schedules.
  • This role requires balancing proactive maintenance with urgent repairs to ensure asset reliability.  
  • Create, prioritize, and manage work orders in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Develop comprehensive plans for maintenance tasks, including step-by-step instructions, necessary tools, spare parts, and safety procedures.
  • Develop daily, weekly, and long-term maintenance schedules, coordinating with production teams to determine equipment availability. 
  • Ensure all spare parts, materials, and external contractors are secured and available before work begins.
  • Analyze maintenance KPIs (e.g., Mean Time To Repair - MTTR) for improvement and ensure all work complies with safety regulations and procedures.
  • Coordinate large-scale maintenance events, shutdowns, or turnarounds.

What makes you a good fit

  • Strong understanding of industrial equipment, electrical systems, and mechanical repair techniques.
  • Experience with CMMS tools (e.g., SAP, Maximo) and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage complex, overlapping work orders and logistics.
  • Strong verbal and written skills for coordinating with maintenance technicians, contractors, and management. 
  • Often requires a technical degree or equivalent on-the-job experience in maintenance or engineering.

The salary for this role is $72,000.00- $90,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
