About this Position

  • The Pricing Manager APAC is responsible for driving pricing excellence, governance, and value capture across the region. The role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Product to execute regional pricing strategies, enable effective price execution, and protect margins in a dynamic market environment.
  • In addition, the role supports selected product management activities to strengthen portfolio profitability and margin performance, while contributing regional insights within the global pricing framework.

What you´ll do

  • Drive pricing excellence and governance to optimize value capture and profitability across the APAC region.
  • Lead and coordinate regional pricing activities across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product to ensure alignment and disciplined execution.
  • Execute regional pricing strategy, policies, and standardized pricing processes in line with global frameworks.
  • Lead and govern regional pricing adjustments, including price increases and raw material cost pass through, ensuring execution readiness and margin protection. 
  • Support business planning through pricing forecasts and develop pricing argumentation to enable effective sales price defense and value based selling. 
  • Establish and facilitate cross functional Pricing Councils and jointly set pricing execution targets with Sales. 
  • Design and deliver pricing and margin analyses, reporting performance versus guidance and targets, and provide pricing expertise on price setting and approvals.
  • Drive adoption of pricing tools and analytics (SAP, Salesforce, PROS, Power BI), support effective order to sales execution, and contribute to selected product management activities to improve portfolio profitability.

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
  • 5–8 years of relevant commercial experience in pricing, business management, finance, or product related roles within a B2B, industrial, or chemical based environment.
  • Experience operating in a matrix organization, partnering closely with Sales, Finance/Controlling, and Product Management.
  • Strong command of English required for regional and global collaboration.
  • Post graduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Technical or scientific background (e.g. Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science) is an advantage but not mandatory. 
  • Ability to understand and apply technical product value drivers (e.g. performance, application benefits, cost drivers) in a commercial and pricing context.
  • Proven experience in pricing execution, margin management, and commercial decision making for technically differentiated product portfolios (e.g. adhesives, chemicals, industrial materials).
  • Strong leadership, project management and analytical skills with the ability to influence people at different levels across the organization.
  • Experience in change management as well as project execution (e.g. capability to effectively manage simultaneous work streams and a broad variety of stakeholders).
  • Experience using pricing and analytics tools (e.g. SAP, Salesforce, PROS, Power BI) to support pricing decisions, margin management, and performance analysis in a B2B environment.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to translate analytical insights into clear business recommendations.
