Featuring a state-of-the-art nonwovens single and dual lamination hygiene coater, the nonwovens production coater enables a wide range of adhesive application technologies to support any nonwoven disposable conversion process. Together with brand owners, we are conducting trials for new adhesive applications using Henkel's TECHNOMELT® portfolio of hot melt adhesives for the nonwoven disposables industry (baby diapers, feminine hygiene, adult incontinence products).
Sustainability Benefits:
Construction elastic and positioning adhesive that are high bio-based content for hygienics applications. Saves production down time by providing on-site trial/testing that mimics production standards. Easyflow® technology that allow customers to run adhesive on-demand, saving energy consumption, reduced carbon footprint and auto feeding system saves human interaction with heat reduction potential injuries.

Packaging is at the heart of food safety and extended shelf-life, with an ever-increasing demand from retailers and consumers for innovative and sustainable packaging. We use our expertise to focus on delivering solutions without compromising on high standards of performance and versatility. Focusing primarily on LOCTITE® adhesives and coatings, the new labs are designed for evaluation, design and testing, full-scale equipment, and state-of-the-art customer training facilities to support the needs of converters and brand owners.

We advance sustainability by creating innovative adhesive and coatings that enable circularity and new end of life scenarios for flexible packaging. Some of these solutions facilitate the shift to mono-material structures, making recycling easier and reducing packaging waste.
Furniture & Building Components Lab
Changes in construction requires innovative approaches to assure happy consumers. From waterborne or hot melt adhesive chemistries to sprayable or roll-on applications, manufacturers require faster dry times, better bonding strength, and increased application ease. This lab features equipment to test engineered wood bonding, furniture, and building component adhesive application testing.
Sustainability Benefits:
Our products enhance sustainability through manufacturing of building components and furniture including: ceiling tiles, roofing, insulation, façade, doors, windows, flooring, desks, and mattresses. We offer waterborne, urethane, and hot melt adhesives with fast drying, strong bonding, and easy application. Our lab tests engineered wood bonding, fire resistance, and adhesive performance for building and furniture components. Therefore, our adhesives and coating solutions are designed to tackle both current and future challenges in functionality, eCommerce, and sustainability. By replacing EPS foam cups, we enable sustainability by providing an alternative that simplifies recycling and reduces dependency on petrochemicals. We offer solutions to replace non-recyclable substrates like foil and wax coatings with recyclable barrier coatings. Our UV-curable hot melt pressure sensitive technology blends the performance of traditional solvent based formulations with the processability, and safety of a hot melt technology.
