What you´ll do
Description: The Senior Manager, Diversity and Inclusion and Corporate Citizenship will play a key role in championing Henkel’s efforts to further strengthen our North American D&I approach covering the entire life cycle of an employee. Working closely with stakeholders throughout the business and the HR team, this role will collaborate to create and implement an enhanced diversity and inclusion strategy for North America that aligns with business objectives as well as partner to manage North America’s Corporate Citizenship function.
Responsibilities:
- Employee Resource Groups:
- Provide strategic leadership, governance, and oversight for the organization’s ERGs
- Partner with ERG leaders to align ERG goals with enterprise D&I and business priorities
- Support ERG capability building, including leadership development, program planning, and impact measurement
- Internal Strategic Consulting and Corporate Citizenship:
- Act as a trusted internal consultant to senior leaders and business teams, advising on inclusive leadership practices, team effectiveness, and culture change
- Partner with HR and business networks to identify and address barriers to inclusion
- Translate D&I strategy into practical, scalable initiatives aligned with business goals
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Total Rewards, Corporate Communications) to embed D&I principles into core people processes
- Embed D&I best practices across the employee lifecycle, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding
- Lead and manage corporate citizenship activities for North America, ensuring alignment with global goals and processes
- Oversee employee volunteering programs, including strategy, participation growth, partnerships, and impact measurement
- Manage corporate grant programs, including grant application processes, evaluation, governance, and relationship management with nonprofit partners
- Coordinate disaster relief and crisis‑response needs, with a sense of urgency and in alignment with global team
Track and report on corporate citizenship outcomes for North America

- Experience managing and enabling Employee Resource Groups or similar employee networks
- Proven experience partnering with business leaders and HR teams
- Ability to influence without authority and navigate complex organizational environments
- Experience managing volunteer and donation programs

The salary for this role is $125,000.00 - $165,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
