About this Position
The Quality Engineer plays a vital role in safeguarding product quality and consumer trust by ensuring that materials and products consistently meet established quality and safety standards. Reporting directly to the QA Supervisor, this role supports Quality Control and Operational Quality by verifying that raw materials, packaging, in‑process items, and finished goods are suitable for use through structured testing, inspection, and analysis. Working closely with Production and Quality teams, the Quality Engineer helps identify and address quality risks early to prevent issues downstream. This role operates in a hands-on laboratory and manufacturing environment, where attention to detail, discipline, and collaboration are essential. Success in this position means enabling smooth manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with quality fundamentals, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and product excellence.
What you´ll do
- Perform sampling and test inspection of raw materials and packaging according to the established sampling/test procedure/method
- Prepares report on the test/inspection conducted (Laboratory Report and Laboratory Instruction)
- Perform test inspection for in-process and conducts laboratory trial adjustment on non-conforming fresh finished bulk and issues Adjustment to Production Department for necessary adjustment
- Sampling and microbial analysis of Water, Raw Materials, semi-finished and finished products requiring microbial analysis
- Performs visual inspection and swab/rinsing test on mixers, tanks, machines, containers and packaging materials prior to use
- Order on Ariba for testing materials, chemical for analysis, tool & equipment, maintenance, testing services for lab
- Conduct calibration/checking of laboratory measuring equipment
- Support implementation of 5 Quality Fundamentals (CTQ, FPRS, FMEA, MOC and SQC)
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or relevant engineering/technical discipline
- Fresh Graduates to 1yr Experience can apply.
- Must have valid PRC license of Chemical Technician/ Chemist
- With great interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to communicate with customer to understand the requirement and provide customer solutions
- Amenable to accept a fixed-term contract, and work on a day shift schedule (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) 5days (Mon-Fri) onsite.
